The Board provides platform for vision drawn leadership for Nepal's tourism section by integrating government commitment with the dynamism of private sector tourism industries.

Robert Svobda is the first Westerner ever to graduate from a college of Ayurveda (in 1980) and be licensed to practice in India. He lived in India from 1973-1980 and 1982-1986. He has been travelling the world lecturing, consulting, teaching and writing since 1985. He also serves as Adjunct Faculty at the Ayurvedic Institute, Albuquerque, NM, and Bastyr University, Kenmore, WA.

Sri Srivatsa Ramaswami

For more than thirty years, Sri Srivatsa Ramaswami studied Yoga, Vedic chanting and other related philosophies with the legendary Sri T. Krishnamacharya, the most influential figure in the field of yoga in the last 100 years. He was his student of longest standing outside his immediate family, and has been teaching Krishnamacharya’s Vinyasa Yoga for more than twenty years in India and the United States. Ramaswami has extensive knowledge of the classic Yoga texts, has authored several books: Basic Tenets of Patanjala Yoga, Yoga for the Three Stages of Life, The Complete Book of Vinyasa Yoga and most recently Yoga Beneath the Surface co-authored with David Hurwitz, and has recorded about forty audio cassettes and CD’s of Sanskrit Mantras.

Simhasana Yoga Studio is run by aspiring yogini Pam Johnson. Pam teaches Vinyasa Krama Yoga of the Krishnamacharya lineage, which she studied under her teacher Sri Srivatsa Ramaswami. She has also studied and trained extensively with Tias Little.
